desktop display upside down

This is a really funny prank to pull on your friends if they have an XP computer. To turn the windows display 180 degrees (or upside down) simply press Ctrl-alt-down arrow. To set it back simply press Ctrl-alt-up arrow. Note: this only works on XP and it depends on your graphics card.

ctrl-alt-left and right rotate it 90 degrees. Since I have those bound to switching between workspaces on my laptop (I run Linux), it is very common for my screen to accidentally rotate at work where I have to use Windows because I think "Firefox, left!" due to how I arrange tasks on my workspaces.

lol just turn pc screen upside down lol

Here is a solution to the problem. As far as I know this only works on certain version of windows XP and it may depend on your graphics card. On the desktop, right-click and select Graphic Options --> Rotation --> Normal.

Dear Computer Kid,

I am truly humbled, I've been stoned trying to figure out why the fuck my computer screen was upside down on my damn Tv. It's been about a month and I've mastered doing everything in reverse due to the upside down screen. Today I was truly blessed to have stumbled across such a magnificent site. You truly are a gift from the heavens, and I honestly don't know how I was lucky enough to find this page. Words will never describe the excitement I felt when I pressed those cold plastic keys (ctl. alt. up) and the fucking screen went up faster than my pecker after watching a 1/2 hour of murder she wrote. Well I better wrap this up because you genius mind most likely has better things to do than reading a crummy old testimonial. Thank you so much and god bless

Cool. I don't think I'll be doing it to anyone just yet but at least I'll know what to do if it's done to me. What a way to make a new site design shock those you want to introduce it to. Really interesting that some people had their toddlers do it.
